About Sarah

Your Human Resources Partner
With over 20 years of HR experience, I've partnered with business leaders of all sizes to find solutions to their HR challenges across many countries. I've worked in different industries and with organisations at every stage of their evolution, giving me extensive experience across sectors including banking, technology startups, market research, non-profits, retail, agriculture, manufacturing and travel. I first started my own HR consultancy in 2009, and in 2012 I became so engaged in creating the HR function for one of my clients, Wells Fargo, that I took a permanent role, ultimately becoming HR Director with responsibility for Europe, Middle East and Africa, for over 10 years before deciding that I wanted a different challenge.
I now do what I enjoy most — providing high-quality, bespoke consulting to Irish businesses.
I can put the building blocks together to create an "HR function" appropriate to your size, culture and needs. My approach is holistic: I seek to create a balanced, positive environment where employees are engaged and focused on your company's success. I can help you navigate the legal landscape and give you peace of mind. As your partner, I am committed to ethical and confidential HR practices, working collaboratively with you and your team to achieve the outcomes you need.
I am committed to personal development — constantly learning and adapting — and I encourage my client companies to do the same. I hold a Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons) in Management, a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources, an LLB (Hons) in Irish Law, a Barrister-at-Law degree from The Honorable Society of King's Inns, a Diploma in Mediation from the Law Society, a Diploma in Executive and Personal Coaching, and the Institute of Directors Diploma in Company Direction. I was called to the Bar of Ireland in 2013, and I am a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
This combination of senior HR and employee relations leadership with legal training is what I bring to independent workplace investigations. I conduct impartial investigations into grievances and protected disclosures, establishing the facts thoroughly and applying the fair procedures and natural justice that allow findings to withstand scrutiny. It's an area where deep ER experience and a barrister's eye for evidence and process are a genuine advantage — and where independence from the organisation matters most.
Your business is unique in its size, scale, purpose and stage of development. My job is to provide a personalised, cost-effective solution, appropriate to your complexity and tailored to your specific challenges and goals. I aim to de-mystify and simplify HR, enabling you to build a strong, balanced foundation for managing your people, foster a positive and inclusive culture, and ultimately support your success and growth.
Whether you have one employee or 500, as your trusted partner I can help your business grow and succeed.
